Bugs is an experimnet in AI & A-Life ... I have started it as a hobby but who knows one day they may replace all other virtual pets :) ... they live on this doughnut shaped world ... like ours it has mountians and lakes ... they search for food and mates ... navigate round obsticles ... and try to avoid preditors ... this thier life ... watch them as they live and grow ... origally they wandered round aimlessly but they have much better brains now ... they actually exibate chase/run behavior and stuff ... they also have a herding drive though it is not particulary strong ...
I should mention they run on Linux ...
Intel x86 and compatibles running Linux and FreeBSD
... NetBSD & Linux on ALPHA ... Linux on S390
... Linux on MIPSel (Cobalt RAQ)
